This guy lives 5 minutes from my house so I checked it out yesterday afternoon. I'm not interested in buying it but thought I'll give you all some feedback. Body is in good shape except the clear coat is 90% gone. Needs front birfs/hubs service. The seller was replacing the PS pump so I did not start or drive it to verify if the lockers worked. I got the feeling he would take less if someone showed up with cash. I dunno...10k might get it.

Holy smokes, that thing is clean. Might have been a BaT candidate ... not that I'm suggesting feeding into the LC price inflation frenzy.

All numbers match and everything original but exhaust system ( now louder). Third owner and cannot drive any longer. 49,000 miles and starts right up. $14,500

I found this weed whacking, everything is there and a whole a lot of rust too.. straight 6 engine oil still black so might have hope idk I want 300 for my time cleaning it I don’t have a title 🤦🏻 and it will never be anything other then parts.. it’s 300$ and pull up with a tow truck .

That is awesome! And looks a lot better than a lot of the barn find 40s I've seen on the web lately.

Me too!.....I've all but given up looking for a 40. I was talking with an old boy here in the mountains about buying his old plow 40 as just a run about. He was willing to let it go for $3k due to massive rust issues. Next thing I know some kid offers him $10k and its gone!

Every few years i think about selling by 40, then end up keeping it. 😂

100 series with a salvage title, blown head gasket and rear diff lock.
