i was going to say it was probably ross miller, but the ad says it's " a glen shelly" vehicle...as if that means anything

either way, hopefully anti ohv patagonia sticker will go away with whomever buys it

Pretty sure Glen Shelly is a newish dealer in Superior, he's the one who sold that big yellow one a few months back.

That thing looks pretty crusty. Price seems reasonable compared to what most 40's sell for these days.

Looks like he removed the rear bumper and swapped the tail lights if you compare the early pics with the later ones...

Look like he had tundra wheels with MTs on probably and then switched back to some steel wheels. Probably used it for while and then put it back to more stock looking prior to sale.

We used to have a silver one like this back when I was in high school in the ME. Guy with a gun decided he wanted it more :(

40 in MT for 7k. Looks all original - guy says 95% rust free...

https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/6041471396.html

I wonder if he has a ranch or if he's from Denver? :lmao:

From CL:

"First off this FJ 40 is in Billings MT . It's on my Ranch I'm listing this as I lived in Denver for 20 years and 15 up here in Montana .
I Put this away 2 years ago to paint and restore. Mechanically perfect, with 95% Rust Free .
PTO Winch 8000lb 3 on tree manual trans Hardtop original condition . Sitting under my barn shed . Hard to find 50 yr old almost 100% rust free cruiser. No Dissapoinments.
Going to be selling my Ranch this year and I'm going to sell off some of the things I wanted to keep. I'm a Rancher originally from Ft Morgan
But now I'm here. Not spam !! I was in Denver last week, grew up on North side before I became involved with Ranching.
I'm 7 hours from Downtown Denver. Easy ride up I 25 to Billings.
Please if any interest please email me. I still have a Denver #. I will call all interested parties back. This keeps the BS down. Can send more pics to serious people.
If this ad is up its still for sale.
Thanks."

Yep, it's mine. This one is my personal LC. I import a few of these a year to support my Land Cruiser habits. I sold the white BJ74 "she speaks to me in Japanese" and the yellow one "Big Bird" as well as a few others. The guys at Glen Shelly are my buddies who help me sell them. Alex is a BMW guy and sells them to support his Racing habit. If anyone is interested send me a PM. Here is a link to the build thread.

I think you guys have it backward, there is a snorkel in the pic with the different bumpers, wheels, and taillights.
