A pretty clean 40 with a non-stock motor is something I simply need one of these days (so I won't feel bad putting a 1HZ into one).

I talked to the owner, and posted it on the Piggie section on Mud.
Despite the ad being in the Denver CL, and stating Ft. Collins, the guy actually lives in Wyoming, and the truck is in Billings. He shows no desire in bringing the truck any closer to Denver. The MUD guys saw this same truck on I think a Montana CL site recently for $2600 and the guy was desperate for cash, so sounds like a flipper, and when I talked to him he knew next to nothing about the truck, or Land Cruisers in general. If it was local, it could be a good project.

Bring that out here and start looking for a new engine one the trip out.
The H is a painfully slow motor. 2H/turbo or a 12HT would make it rip along pretty well though.
It does look like a pretty decent central american cruiser though. I don't see the obvious over-bondo work that is common from the area. And putting a 70 series bed on the 45s is so incredibly common lately.
