I inquired and waiting to hear back on this 99 LC. I don't actually need or necessarily want it, but decent price for a starting rig with e-locker.

update before I finished posting: he posted more pictures. Some rust, but not so bad. Could be good for someone to make a lowish offer.

Been watching Craigslist for a 99 or 00 forever and they are always shockingly over valued. Today though, I think I finally found the most laughable one of all.

Anyone has any insight as to if this is a drug money laundering scam or if it's definitely a drug money laundering scam let me know.
Its funny that he doesn't mention the snow plow that was attached to this 4runner! Its not like those things put any extra wear on the vehicle or anything!

Rust looks really minimal. Tires look older, power steering reservoir looks bad, brake fluid looks dark.

Might be a decent deal but also might be inheriting a lot of problems. Deep dive on that inspection!

I agree, looks like a ho hum previous owner and 288K miles. I am not interested really, just thought it could be a good starting point for someone trying to get in a rear locker 100 for cheap if they want to start doing their own baselining.

In defense of your original posting, who knows what they would take. That is lower on the price spectrum for 100 series as is even with condition, but maybe they would take 4k. That would make it a great deal.

Is that eligible for the Do you Overland Bruh thread?

I actually have been quite picky with chairs and there is a huge difference when you are using them all the time and how they hold up. I think the quality is worth it.

Comfortable for sure but to me not worth the struggle folding and unfolding. Nearly lose a finger every time (other peoples chairs, I do not and would not own one). They get worse with dirt. grit, and wear. For $30, maybe worth it.

I've been really happy with the front runner chairs. We have been using them for the last 2 years.

Those ARB chairs are a PITA. Hard to set up and harder to put away. Still an enormous chunk even when folded up. I have one and will not buy any more.
