Was at Jim’s Yota Yard yesterday and he was bemoaning the fact that carcasses for pre-1996 Toyota trucks are becoming as scarce as old 40 and 60 series, as in nearly non-existent. Wrecked trucks he was able to buy for $500 are now $2500 or more, when they become available, which is rarely.

Does anyone know if a timing chain on a 3.0i V-6 is an engine killer?

Seems like all old toyotas are getting grabbed up, not just 4x4's!

I spoke with the owner yesterday, I plan to go to the springs tomorrow and tow this one home. I figured for the money it was worth trying to get this one back on the road for someone to enjoy. Just happens that I sold my 1967 Barracuda fastback this past Friday and opened up a slot in the shop.

I messaged about it yesterday not long after it posted and told them I was local and would take it, I still have not heard back. So I am assuming it is sold already
