OMG...that is a nice cruiser. $27.5 is not too bad either if it is truly in original condition. Hard to believe that is original paint, it looks too perfect.

Thats not original paint. I see stuff painted over and bolts that would have been painted from the factory that are not. Looks nicely done though.

I have my old fuse box I just replaced that someone could use for troubleshooting if they decide to buy this.

That was a nice truck, I remember you climbing that steep part of the quartz quarry on the Snow run year’s ago. Never spun a tire, walked right up. Someone will have a great truck.

I did. :)

I rescued it! I did NOT want somebody to buy this and cut it up into a buggy or worse yet, part it out! So much history with this one. I have notes from the original owner on everything since day 1. It is supposedly the first 40 sold in Boulder county, still has the original plates. It would have burned in the Lousiville fires if it hadn't been rescued by @Brucker and friend. I see a Toyota Trails story! Anyway. It is safely at my shop, but it is 5th or 6th project in line. If I stepped on any toes or anyone really wants to restore this, please let me know. I would let you have it for what I paid. If not, I will get around to it someday. Right???

So I have been pondering a lot this week, and made the decision to try and attend Rubithon next year. Very inspired by @Notyourmomslx450 and @NotyourmomsWife! I was bummed not to make the big rising sun trip like 20 years ago. But going to Rubithon means I need to build a rig so with all the other projects ahead of this one, I am afraid I will have to sell it. I'll start with what I paid $4900 and go from there. Bummed but I won't have a chance to touch this rig for a couple of years...sigh. I'll post a for sale thread soon.
