Worked like a charm, thanks Steve! What was that about old dogs and new tricks?

Met him once or twice, he’s a nice guy. The first time he was walking his dog past the house when I was outside and he said “Whoa, cool 60 man! Mind if I drive it??”

To be honest I was a little spooked, but after we talked and I figured out it was his 80 around the block and he was a true Cruiser Guy, I knew he wasn’t up to anything nefarious. So I sat in the passenger seat while he drove around the block.

Before or after the engine rebuild. If before, you should give him another go!

Never see Cruisers in Iowa, let alone FJ55's. Spotted this one sitting in a lot near a business. I was working nearby, so I pulled in to check it out. Looks like someone threw some ugly rollers on it and pulled it out of a barn recently. Interior was covered in dust and the original wheels are tossed in the back. Really original and complete with lots of the usual rust. No plates and doubt they drove it there. Neat potential project. Will have to check in soon and see if its still there/for sale.
