Maybe buy the truck from insurance, that’s what I did after the hail storm. Did real well with that.
That's what I'd like to do, I'd really like to keep it and fix it.
Dang I'm sorry man. How about some more pics of damage. Any more quarter panel damage?
I'll post a couple more pics here and I'll message you some.

So sorry - you kept that truck so perfect too. Have Proffitts do the body work!
Of course you are buying it back. Fix it, salvage title it, good to go.
Many threads on Mud about negotiating with insurance for more money.

NOOOOOOOO! Your runner was coming together so nicely! I’ll add to the pile of “glad you’re ok” because that really is the most important thing.
That one at Toyo Pros looks like a great donor. I’d be curious to know what you pay for parts if you go that route.
Good luck man!

That really sucks, it was a good looken rig.

you mentioned: "Any accident where you and everyone else involved can walk away from and that your vehicle can somewhat drive away from isn't too bad considering." we joke when flying that any landing that you can walk away from in a good landing, any landing that you can re-use the equipment is exceptional.

I'm glad everyone is okay.

Having just gone through the insurance shitshow with my totaled 100 a few months back, feel free to hit me up with questions. The basic premise of my advice is to keep pushing until you feel you've reached a figure that's fair. Every settlement offer I received from the insurance company came with the tagline "this is our best and final offer" - as it turns out, they sent me five "best and final offers", and I wound up walking away with 50% more cash than their initial offer, as well as my Slee rear bumper (easily the most costly aftermarket mod on the rig).

I also added $25k in "aftermarket modification" insurance with Geico on my new 100, for a very modest increase in my premiums. Totally worth it to look into this on your next rig, if you didn't have it already.

Thank you @bassguyry, I'll definitely send you a pm if I have any ?'s and thank you for the info! I remember seeing your thread about your 100, it frigg'n sucks dude! If they total it I'd like to buy it back from them, if that's the route that they decide to go.

Thanks again all for your kind word and sympathies. I'm going to be looking for a E locker rear axle, 4.10 ratio. If anyone has any leads on one please hit me up! :risingsun

Look for one out of a standard. That's how i got mine.

Wow. This sucks. In the new photos it doesn't look as bad. Good thing you had those sliders there!

When my FJ60 was demolished by an head-on collision at 65 MPH, the insurance boogers wanted $2500 to buy it back. It wasn't my truck at the time, or I would have screamed a lot louder. This was Geico. I hope your buy-back price is reasonable and sensible.

Are you saying that is low or high? It seems like a reasonable number given what 60s are selling for now. The buyback is just the estimate that they believe it will sell for at auction.

I would imagine that Dan will have a low buy back price because used vehicle prices are cratering right now. I cannot imagine that much will be moving at auctions until dealers better understand what the true value of these cars are.
