I spoke to all of those guys and the prices I posted were their quotes for the manifolds and the crossovers.

I have only used Powder Coating Specialists in Golden (Lakewood). They did my 80's logs after I deslagged and ported them. Finish is still holding up going on 4 years and 3 Cat converters!

Checked on this and his price for the manifolds and crossover is 175 total! including media blasting and prep. Thanks UB! I will be going with them!

I've been using powder coating specialists a lot for powdercoating the 40's stuff, I like them a lot FWIW.

Been a bit slow in the project, but this week I got the 3.4 out of the Runner and had a body guy look at my rust. Looks like the *cheapest* route is a new bedside.

I'll be trying to go have a couple of 's with Brian and work out the engine wiring conversion.

Here's my crossover. Turned out pretty good. Followed a couple of the Old Man's ideas and I think it'll work great. I didn't remove the one manifold coupler section from the flange like he did though and it angles the 2 to 1 flange a little better. (picture #2 and 3)

MHO- Do the bedside. That bed is too nice to trash. I bet Bradford Auto Body would fix you up.

Some bad news, I don't think bedsides are still available. I know I got the very last 4Runner left bedside - factory stopped making them.

Well... I think it is a really nice looking truck. I am generally a fan of tube beds, there are some really cool designs out there. But it isn't as cheap to do as you might think, and I know you were wanting to build a nice, clean sleeper and capable DD instead of a thrasher or purpose-built...

You'll make a good decision, whichever one you make.

I vote for a nice ute/flatbed. Build storage for parts and gear. Have tons of tie down points. After all that build some nice supports for fiberglass bedsides and paint to match.

Ran into issue #1. this is the passenger side 3.0 motor mount bolted to the 3.4 block. Solutions?

Is this the cast piece behind the driver's side motor mount I drill into for the 3.0 dipstick?

Last question is the 2001 Tacoma M/T a drive by wire? I cannot remember the change over Model Year, but I think it is... If so then
