What bellhousing are you going to run? It is easiest to stick with the stock starter for that bellhousing.

That being said, I think I'm running a 3.4 starter drilled out for the 3.0 bellhousing

That is what I am running. 3.4 starter, 3.0 bell.

Ok I'm running a 3.0 bell housing with the R151, so probably going that route, but it sounds like it'll all work.

My next question: what clutch kit brand should I use? Toyota my cost is over 300  and I'm not sure what to trust out side of that. A Luke clutch is just over $200 and another (insert brain fart here) was $189. With hard wheeling and a Supercharger should I look into something a little more performance? Super cheap?

I am a big fan of Toyota reman clutches...

Marlin sells HD clutches which you might look into, but $249 plus shipping...

I'd go Toy reman for the 3.4 unless it is more than that $249.

(oh... and the kid gave me a real compliment by copying what I did for the crossover. Except he preserved the right downpipe, moved to the left, which was a tad cleaner. But I needed less backsweep to end up with sufficient room in front of the flex joint... so it's all good.)

That one is mine. Justin's has the original's backsweep, mine is more straight down.

Ok here are the few Ceramic coating places in my area and their prices for my cast iron manifolds and the crossover. Let me know what you think since I've never had to do this before.

Applied Plastics: $235
5000 Tabor Street, Wheat Ridge, CO‎

Premier Coating: $200
1921 West Yale Avenue, Englewood, CO‎

Pristine Powder Coating:$210
3768 South Lipan Street, Englewood, CO‎

Has anyone used any of these before?

I have only used Powder Coating Specialists in Golden (Lakewood). They did my 80's logs after I deslagged and ported them. Finish is still holding up going on 4 years and 3 Cat converters!

Applied Plastics: $235......................(303) 835-1611.......www.appliedplastic.com
5000 Tabor Street, Wheat Ridge, CO‎
-lots of different finishes
-prefers 'turbine coating', designed to be piston dome coating (!!!), titanium in color. Good to 2,000*F+. Advised against internal coating (?) because single coating is sufficient; retains the heat and increases velocity, actually keeping metal cooler. Nevertheless will spray down the first bends.
-flat black available
-$120 minimum most likely, needs to see
- 5-10 day turnaround
-spoke to Casey, in charge of automotive sales. Very impressive conversation, educational, seems to know his schiznit.
-also offers nylon coatings for racks/bumpers, 3x durability of powder coat, also for coilovers. Good release properties, nothing sticks.
They will be at the Tri-State Swap Meet, this coming weekend, at the Stockyards.

Premier Coating: $200.......................(303) 282-4451
1921 West Yale Avenue, Englewood, CO‎
-actual price for just the crossover, $125 (their minimum). Includes internal/external media blast, offers three colors.
--matte silver or matte black, good to 2,000*F
--polished silver, good to 1,300*F
-they can color the flex coupling or leave it masked. Coloring does not affect flex.
-Tony is the owner and was quite helpful and friendly.

Pristine Powder Coating:$210..............(720) 488-5499
3768 South Lipan Street, Englewood, CO‎
-$75 for 3' piping
-inside & out, sandblasted
-3 satin finishes good for 2,000*, silver, black, and tungsten
- 1 week turnaround time, sprays ceramic 1x/week, usually on Weds or Thurs.
-Tapes off the flex coupler
- Spoke to Lee. Probably the least impressive discussion, seemed like Lee was tired.
Phone added for posterity. The first was most impressive; but Tony seemed to be no slouch either. Prices the prices after the dashes are crossover only; they can do iron manifolds at increased cost.
