The guys let me talk them into the traditional expedition dinner table! What you can't see is that the dinning room floor drops off a thousand feet or so about a 100 feet from the table..

Sweet pics ! I haven't gotten into my pics or vids yet . . . since I just got home an hour ago.

Stopped by the old folks house (parents) and my 75 year old dad brought me up to date on what's been going on while I was gone . . . including him rolling his 1,000+ pound Scag zero turn mower on top of himself while zipping around blowing leaves at my sister's house. He did a full roll and it landed back on its tires. He's got some bumps and bruises but no broken bones. Crazy old fart.

Dang James! Glad you made it home okay - and that your dad is okay. :thumb:

I thought the other guys would be posting more pics ... :dunno:

Anywho, there seems to be a demand so I'll keep on posting.

These are from the area of The Doll House, just cool things I saw.

This series is on The Granary Trail. It's a crack in the rocks that you pass through on the trail. There is a cave in there that is plenty big enough to house several people. The shots progress from where you go into the crack, through it, and then looking back at it from the other side.

Thanks. Goblin was pretty cool but dang windy. I had no idea visitors were allowed to walk everywhere around them (no trails). Daylight was disappearing and I did not get to explore any side canyons before heading out and north on Timber Mountain Road.

That entire area definitely needs some more exploring. I bought a couple lottery tickets last night. :D

Alright. This series is from the rest of the Granary Trail, ending at the granaries. The NPS signs there dated them between 2,000 and 8,000 years old. Way to nail down the date!
