West side of Rollins pass sounds awesome. Would we still meet in the jeffco fairgrounds lot?

Probably will still meet at jeffco but I will post a time to meet up closer to the trail too, especially for those west of town.

Keith, is Rollins pass west or Webster pass too much highway for you? I will be in my 40 with stock tired F engine, 3 speed, and 35s. So I won't be going too fast either! I do prefer 285 over 70...

OK Rollins pass west is it! I think we will all just meet at the coffee shop where Starbucks used to be, at the Dumont exit at 10am.

Super excited!

That's a little far for us (read: me) in the 40, but we may stop by the coffee shop to say hi. 😊

For anyone that is coming from the west and or dint react to take the slow way, we will all meet at the coffee shop where Starbucks used to be, at the Dumont exit at 10.

On Sept 6, we will meet at the Jeffco Fairgrounds at 830, wheels up at 9. Trail TBD after we discuss a little more here.

Saturday Sept 6, the Saturday after Labor Day. Broncos games seemed to be a big issue with attendance in the past, as well as some of us have 40's with less than robust heaters, so let's plan accordingly.

We will discuss trail choice at a later date, will depend on the crowd. Last year the group opted for a relaxing cruise but all opinions are welcome!

So get your plan together to get your 40 ready, you have 4+ months!! :)

Let's beat the record we set with the First Annual 40's Only Run at Cruise Moab this year! Proffitts sponsored us and we had 20 rigs plus the Megacruiser. :)

Insky! Sporting new Factory Style Soft Top on the 40. Picking up it in GJ Friday morning. Staying in Idaho Springs, so Dumont meet up is a piece of cake!

Unless I misunderstand, I think your talking 80 miles of highway - probably 4 hours each way for me in the HJ. I don't think that's a good idea for my first run in the truck. So I will probably bail. Sorry.
