here is a few pics from 2002. was my first time on this trail, squeezing a 90 blazer on 33s through. saw a immaculate land rover d90 flop on the first obstacle and ended up helping him recover and towed out. I am totally stoked to run this again, always fun.

Did ya go? I haven't run Spring Creek in years. It would be fun to get back out there.
No, didn't end up going. Still would like to though.
What do people think about August 29th or September 19th or both!

9/19 could work for me. I should definitely be done by that point.

I think Tim said never again because he was emotionally drained by his Duratrac tire failures. Nothing like changing a flat in the middle of the rock garden ;)

I remember the trail more from being speared through my hand by a stick (slipping on a rock, landing on sharp stick) than anything else. After that, I was just in a hurry to get through the trail!

Oh I forgot about that Paul! Yeah that sucked getting speared like that.

You could still run it in a stocker back in 2002. We had a guy in a Samari flop in that same spot one year. I remember oil hydrolocked his pistons and we had to pull his plugs to get him going again.

made a new thread. My schedule works best for Sept. 19th going to try for that date.

Had a friend text me last night saying that he is running spring creek this Sunday. I think I am going to join him since I'm free all day and have never ran this. I believe we're meeting at 8:30am in Dumont. I will post up on here if it is for sure happening.
