Well, this needs to be planned for this year! Anyone interested in heading this up? Only a couple more weekends left in October...

I could lead us through Slaughterhouse Gulch, but that's what I did last year. That and Kingston are what I'm comfortable leading, but Kingston closes on Friday and I'm sure people want some variety.

Post up your thoughts and let's get the conversation going!

Yeah buddy, I'm with you as I'm not sure what I want to lead but I'll try to help out. I guess between trail closures and weather coming in up high we'll see what's able to be run and when? I played in Pole Hill Rd by Estes Park last week, but besides Miller Rock I can't think of fun stuff near me.

How about Devil's Canyon, a little known area 20 minutes outside Idaho Springs. A few easy loops, a few minor challenges, and plenty of space for a cookout. You can dispersed camp there too.

Saturday October 30, right?

This is from yesterday as FYI. Wish I could join!

“Super fun trail, some tricky sections that are getting washed out. Drove the loop clockwise and really glad we did. There is packed snow on the steep sections between WP6 and WP7, Would have been very slippery driving up those sections. Driving down was easy. After WP7 the trail is dry and no problems there.”
