I have run "The Con" twice now. '85 4Runner with dual cases and ARB's front and rear. First time was and OME lift (2.5 ") with longer shackles and 33's. The 2nd time was on a 4" lift with longer shackles and 35's. First time was a lot of work driving, 2nd time was a breeze. Well a breeze for the con. My explanation for this trail is 18 miles of 1st gear. You won't need any other gears.

Could I find a right seat?

I wound up walking most of the trail. There are just so many obstacles, that each time I climbed up in the passenger seat, I would get out again in 20 yards. The skeeters will get you tho!

Just about anything can drive the rubicon. http://www.allpar.com/SUVs/jeep/grand-cherokee-after-rubicon.html

I was never upfront in our group to see how much the TT guys were stacking, but I can assure you there were still many sketchy moments in a mildly built FJ where there's a tree on one side and metal crunching boulder on the other.

I'd love to shoot for this trail again but I just don't know how to pull it off. I figure I would need 8-9 days off and a trailer to get the 40 out. That and my 40 really isn't set up for that trail and I don't think a springover is a good idea on 40's anymore. Sure was a good time though!
