Last week my son and I took a spur of the moment trip to Moab and as we passed the Cliffhanger trail head (smart enough not to go solo) we almost simultaneously remembered @Squishy! at CM2009 and his 4 Runner with no sliders and 18" bling ;)
as I recall he managed to avoid damage.View attachment 130194

Somewhere in a deep internet rabbit hole I found a compendium of the LCML. This was recently, too.
When it was in its prime, the amount of emails you'd get in a day if you did not choose "digest mode" was overwhelming. I'm sure there is some great stuff in there, buried in a flood of emails that say "totally agree."

I was part of a big email list like that once upon a time and yeah … not the greatest format. In an age where there wasn’t much else (Usenet and other groups notwithstanding) it was great though.

The LCML was crazy. I always cuss new tech, but thanks for reminding me of some old tech that I’m 100% glad went away!!! It was brutal trying to keep up with all those emails…even in “digest” :)
