You used to be able to pick up a clean 40 for a reasonable price!

Dean probably remembers the 80 guy's name. I don't but I do remember we had to show the 80 guy how to put the t-case in low range after he got stuck against a rock on the trail.

Oh, you know, that might have been their friend and neighbor. Garret I think was his name. The other two people on the trip were Jin in his '99 4Runner (stick shift, supercharged, he's not in the photo) and Joe in his red J**p.

I've seen the Shortbus on MUD, it's somewhere southeast now I think.

Hi Matt! Remember this one? Yellowcat Flats, Moab. circa 2007.

Thanks Martin! Never thought I’d be part of a nostalgic photo thread, but there it is! I also don’t think I’ve seen that picture before, so thanks for sharing! That was a cold drive home, and I’ve never doubted Ige or tempted the Cruiser gods again.

Love it! Wish I was part of the club back then instead of being a full size chevy clown. I wonder how many times I just missed you guys by a narrow margin on a local trail or in Moab. Also these pics make me miss the 1st gen Goodyear MTRs, such a killer tire design and tread compound.

Last week my son and I took a spur of the moment trip to Moab and as we passed the Cliffhanger trail head (smart enough not to go solo) we almost simultaneously remembered @Squishy! at CM2009 and his 4 Runner with no sliders and 18" bling ;)
as I recall he managed to avoid damage.
