Here's my latest Joyride Pictures ROADWORTHY project video – some Assembly Required. Our goal of the project is to just get the vehicle back on the road, or off-road, with this classic FJ40. Real life doesn't always allow for the perfect auto restoration and this one has been languishing in the garage for almost five years. So, we thought it was time to have some fun getting this budget conscious daily driver back on the trails. Originally this father and daughter 1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser project started out by purchasing two parts vehicles with the intention of creating one legendary off-road machine. But, life happens and other priorities push the project to the basement garage until Joyride Pictures offered to lend a hand and document the rebuild. In this episode we put together a list of what needed to be completed and got busy sandblasting, paint stripping and sanding the body in preparation for paint before outside temperatures began to drop. An added bonus of working on the project at Pete's house were Pete's Treats! Thanks Pete! We still have a lot of work to complete, treats to eat and sauna sessions to enjoy before we're cruising around on Colorado mountain trails so please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE and FOLLOW along.
