Phone app creation, who has experience?

Do you need an app to download from the Apple/Google store for the public? Or just a internal website that can be bookmarked on a phone's browser? My android allows me to put those on my "desktop"
I'd like something to download from the app store.
We already have websites people can bookmark.

I have a few friends that are using AI to assist in this.
Biggest complaint I hear is that when you have it fix something, it breaks countless others. IMO, you would still need the ability personally or have a human to review the code. Or shell out for a ton of tokens so you can iterate through the issues to get a working app.

I've made internal apps for my company using Claude code. A downloadable app from the app store is a much larger undertaking if you're using AI, probably better to find a developer.
I've been a co-leader on creating and launching several apps, and wouldn't hesitate to use Claude to build the app. Let's chat.
