Gents,

Thanks for an awesome trip. Majorly needed this little adventure. Always a wonderful place, Montana. Lots of highlights. Post a teaser for now, and get the report started. Excited to see some of the pics.

The sun sets over that sweet, wonderful Missouri. From our camp on Grand Island.

I saw this on a TV program last night.

https://www.americanprairie.org/our-story

I imagine it's not that popular with the folks in the area given the restrictions placed on cattle grazing. If they want to restore the land to its previous glory, then introducing more buffalo into the area would be a welcome addition. There was a surprising lack of wildlife in the CMR Wildlife Reserve during our visit....

Cool video, I was surprised by that lack of seen wildlife for how remote we were. The more places that can be spared of development and remain wild, yet remain accessible to the public... I am all in!

To be fair, we traversed a very small portion of the Refuge. Come hunting season, I’m sure more stuff starts to gather there.

Wow, I need to send Christian a jump drive and get all his photos... I love the pic of the two brothers. Great meeting him. Marco, how was the Morrison Jeep Trail for you two?

There are lots of pics for sure, I probably missed the better ones, that was just a quick pass with me picking something to share.

The Morrison Jeep Trail was real neat, the valley leading up to it was pretty amazing... actually pretty unreal. Great camping there that night and a stunning backdrop. The trail itself was all pretty tame except for the switchbacks. I was able to make them all with 3pt turns or less but at least one was real tight and had legit pucker factor with rollover possibilities. We moved up them without really skipping a beat though, didn't need to get out at all to spot or anything. I used "all of the switches" at least once to make sure we had zero issues. Up top it was nice rolling terrain with gorgeous forests and views. It was a great route and we only saw one person the whole time (rancher). He passed our camp the morning we started. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Worst part about it was that we weren't with you guys.

Not many "runs" start with a 750 mile race up to Montana. Thanks to all you guys for a great week, and special thanks to Perry for the organization, patience and the newfound appreciation for Busch NA.

I hope Perry will give full details of the adventure.

The views of the Missouri River and Grand Island (flat land in the middle if the video) from our camp for a couple days.
