Thursday with the group back in Co, the weather settled in, making for a wet day. Our planned camp for the day was Wheeler Geological area, but things would end up changing due to weather conditions. Stunner Pass took us north from Antonito. An unexpected awesome drive.
Last few around the old mining town. We ended up getting a place to stay in South for that night due to a winter storm that was moving through the area. Winter storm and flash flood warning just didn't sound all that appealing for camping. Friday, with Daniel a bit under the weather (food poisoning) and the weather front that moved in, we ended up heading home a little early. Bummed to not make it to Telluride but still an amazing trip. Thanks to all who made it this year. Already looking forward to next year.
Leaving our camp site in a little morning drizzle...
Hey! I know how you got that shot!
My version of the group shot...
60 brotherhood.
For some reason (aside from the fact that I was in the back most of the time to spare people having to breathe my diesel fumes) I love pictures like this. A picture like this conveys to me a story of the possibility of where you are going.
