Moab October2026

We had a lot of rain for the 6th annual October members Moab trip, @Yarn Cruiser , @Wild-FJ @VoodooBlue_Vixen @fyffer and I met up to Run Fins on Thursday, Hells Rev on Friday and our group slightly changed when @allen.wrench and @jps8460 showed up to do a quick run of Fins again on Saturday. Heavy rains early in the week made for great traction on Thursday but gave us challenge on Friday with cooler temps and rock slick with sand. Cloud cover made for awesome views and so good to see some old friends.

Hells gate
I didn't get the line right and fell into the wall twice before backing down and resetting for the third attempt. Had a C-130 do a flyover right as I was finishing the ascent! @VoodooBlue_Vixen had issues with the same spot but also was able to reset and make it up.

This was an amazing trip, rain and all. I'm quite glad we booked a hotel for the weather, it just made the trip less of a pita. The wheeling was great, the views were amazing! And we got to drive through the "Car Wash" and actually use it as such!
