We are probably going to miss this run. The dog ate a small rubber ball and had to have it removed from his intestine yesterday. I can't leave him at home alone till he is all healed up.

Hope the pooch gets better. A few years ago our boarder collie ate some of my wife's brides maid's earrings right before we got married. We found all of the pieces except for one diamond shaped stud. Sure enough when we took her in to get an Xray, there it was, a little heart shaped diamond in her intestine. We had to feed her bread soaked in brown gravy to try and protect her internals from not getting punctured by the stud earing. The best part was going outside everyday for about a week and picking up her poop with a plastic sandwich bag and mashing it up to see if the earing passed. Eventually she passed it and all was right with the world again.

When he was a pup he chewed up the tv remote and we couldn't find the aa batteries. They showed up in perfect condition other than some surface staining 24 hrs later. Two weeks after that he decided to eat my insulated speaker wire staples 5 minutes before I was going to use them. Foind all 20 within 12 hrs. Fast forward 10 years later and now this nerf ball. He better not be getting into old habits again! We initially though he got giardia when we were camping. Not the case.

Sounds like a good time. I’d like to join the run. Just met Jackson Philby at the 200LCDC event in Ouray and learned about Rising Sun.

Yeah man come on up! It's not a super technical trail but there are several areas with tight brush just a heads up.

Aspiring new member hoping to make it out with the group on this trail Saturday. I did it a few weeks ago alone, was my first real off-road trail ride that wasn't in the snow. Hoping to follow someone with a bit more experience if possible.

Back down to about 15%. I'll see you all up there if we can make it! Otherwise have some fun for us.
