My wit has not woken up yet today, but this reminds me of my first time to Test n Tune at Bandi. Dude had a snowmobile with what I dub'd a treadmill belt for the track. IIRC it was doing sub-10s runs.

I'm old enough to remember $.19 - for Premium! $.15 for Regular. Gas wars were literally a gas back in the '50s and early '60s.
I heard that. I remember being all upset when I was in 5th grade and gas went over 25 cents a gallon. I used to ride my dirt bike to the gas station in Longmont to get gas with my allowance.

I didn’t realize you grew up in Longmont!
4th-8th grade in Longmont. Back in the olden days when there was nothing but fields north of 19th or so. Lanyon Park at 19th and Collyer was pretty much the north edge of town. LOL
