For those interested in the club..

The 4th annual Ouray FJSummit is scheduled for July 21-July 24.

This is a super fun event for all things FJCruiser and a few other Toyota 4x4 type vehicles usually show up. You do not have to have a FJC to attend.

Stock FJCs can handle the rugged trails associated with this event, because all but one are fire roads. Black Bear is usually just openned by the time this event begins.

This is a beautiful time of year to visit Ouray/Telluride and will give you the opportunity to see multiple inner fender apron bulges and some manly FJCs....

I just registered, 175.00 for the entire family, gets us 3 trails, 1- t-shirt, 4 meals, grille badge, and other cool shwag..

The raffle is really good, TRD will be there, usually Demello off-road, All Pro and Mark from Metal tech. Vendors are set up everyday around the big tent at the Best Western parking lot.

This event is done really well. I would encourage any past or present Cruise Moab committee members to at least stop by and visit, say hi to the vendors and see the event for yourself.

I was asked by the TLCA folks to hang out a bit an represent TLCA during the event. So I could use help, manning the TLCA booth.

I think this is going to be a yes, but that means I will most likely be backing out of some runs as well as CM2011.... but I guess that won't matter since the locker rule will sideline me for that event anyway.

Big news!

"Mr. Akio Nishimura - Chief Engineer FJ Cruiser, Tacoma, and 4Runner from Toyota Japan will be attending the FJ Summit this year! He has been the Chief Engineer of the FJ since it's first running."

Pulled from the FJC forums FJ Summit thread, Pretty cool

I am going to have him sign my inner fen.....door panel....

Actually, I am going to ask about the potential to bring the diesel LandCruiser 70 series to the U.S. from Austraila. They are going to bring the FJCruiser to Australia, so I am thinking they can just fill the empty boat up with 70's rigs and then float on up to the U.S.

Only problem is they are right hand steering wheel..

I just paid off the FJCruiser yesterday and that is feeling pretty good but I would trade it in, in a heart beat for a 70 series wagon...

Good point almost forgot about the leather steering wheel.

Yep wanted to go directly to the Pop-up camper dealer and throw down but my financial advisor, informed me that would be bad for me at this time...

Who knows, maybe by the end of the month something might follow me home, fingers crossed.

Might want to wait till later this fall at this point and see if you can't find some screaming deal on an outgoing model :thumb:

Have you found a pop-up camper to drag around for a bit to see how the FJC does pulling one? We'll have ours out for trips in July and again in August if you want to swing by and take it for a "spin" :)

:thumb::thumb::thumb:, I'm just under the halfway on mine but plan on having it paid off by 2012 a year early. If you do sell it let me know, Keryn said she might want to grab on more at the end of the year if things play out the way we are trying to get it to.....Come on lotto jackpot, COME ON!!!

And I'm most likely out of this one but might go down for a day or two to maybe help you out with the TLCA table if you need some.

I have a open set if someone wants to go, you'll have to pay the registration for passengers fee, but I'm going:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:hill::thumb::thumb::thumb::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer:

Now what trails should I take?
