Real bummer that the albino rhino is out.

It's all good. I'll make it on the next run.

Well bad news. I'm out of the game on this one. My rear diff gears are shot. I'm going to order in new gears and that will take too long to break them in, etc. So I'm staying in Denver this weekend.![]()
Please also bring 1-2 bundles of firewood (or more) and send me your emergency info.
Just a note that if anyone needs firewood on your way west out of Denver... I'm your huckleberry.
Bummed I have to work and can't come, so the least I can do is offer some of Crazy Dan's Firewood to you...

Big thanks to Dan for doing ALL of the heavy lifting on the logistics and the route and itinerary look fantastic. Between SEMA, Baja and Turkeygiving I have been slammed at work and am just now getting out of the shop. Can't wait to see you guys in a few days!
was their six hour hike to the canyon and back?!Thanks Kurt. Your inquiries were the genesis and your input invaluable.
Now I'm going to get back to work but not before posting the latest idea. Seeing this http://www.expeditionutah.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3273:

Does anyone know the current status of Poison Springs Road? When I was in the area last fall, there was a washout on the east side of the Dirty Devil not too far after the crossing.
