Okay back home in Golden. Whew what a trip! I'm going to post in this thread to keep my truck repairs separate from the trip planning thread.
Long story short though, I could use several hands. Need help rebuilding the rear diff, installing a new axle, and checking out the rest of the truck to make sure there aren't any other lurking problems.

Checked out the repair thread. Are you still planning on going on the trip? I'm sure we can both find passenger seats to keep warm.

My nights this week will be spent getting the mini back in trail condition. Oil pan weeps a bit (had it off recently so hopefully just have to tighten it up a bit), I'm rewiring the starter solenoid circuit, need an oil change, and need to rewire the Ham. Fingers crossed I can do it all and get packed. Excited for this trip.

Well bad news. I'm out of the game on this one. My rear diff gears are shot. I'm going to order in new gears and that will take too long to break them in, etc. So I'm staying in Denver this weekend.
Real bummer that the albino rhino is out.
