Vid 1. Nice! Some funny lines in there about keeping the "stock" and low profile look of the truck for central america...the promptly putting bumpers, racks, tents, lights, etc on the truck.![]()
Fwiw the truck was already built, nothing new was added beyond the wrap. Part of the "Keeping it low profile for Central America" was keeping it within the scope of Toyota's wants. I don't think they were being restrictive or had a list but they ultimately wanted us to test and use the 4Runner and if they are going to use it for promotional material, it needs to have a somewhat stock appearance. This isn't NASCAR

I also like the med kit selection shot. Fully expected the guy to ask if you knew how to reattach an amputated limb and if you needed the kit for it. lol
Seriously, Team 5 are some hard-core dudes!
Watched vid 3. Nice! Makes me want to go there even more, though I don't think I'll let my scuba air run THAT low....or eat spoiled fish sauce. Holy cow. Depth, current, stress, all make for quick use. Last time I did a deep wreck dive it was kinda like that and my air disappeared quick, but no freaking way I wouldn't have gone to surface once it hit the red zone. Those beaches look killer though, and almost nobody around!
It was an interesting situation and one I've never encountered diving before. The dive master looked at Clay's gauge and repeated hand signals, and then literally turned around a swam off... as if it were of no concern or worry to him. I was nearby the entire time so we were prepped to buddy air if needed but the entire dive was confusing.
