Cruise Moab is adding some devices to our Garmin Inreach fleet. We already have several of the Inreach SE+ devices and we'd like to stay consistent but the SE+ model has been discontinued.

Do you have a Garmin Inreach SE+ (the yellow one) you'd like to sell us? Perhaps you've upgraded to a newer integrated device or no longer maintain a subscription? This is a chance to move your old unit and help Cruise Moab out while doing it.

We're looking for ebay/chasemart competitive prices!! :)

Please contact me if you have a spare and let us know your price, @AimCOTaco

Thanks!

Nice work!!!! It is greatly appreciated! I’m also working on a map of all our trails showing cell coverage too just as a back up in case we don’t get enough and need to be stingy with them.

@NotyourmomsWife if you need any help there I have the FCC predicted coverage layers. For example, these are the voice maps. The FCC last updated these databases May of 2021 so it's probably a little stale but not terribly. Any information you want can be put on top, routes, waypoints, etc.

Thanks, I’ve got a software program that has this already built in. Not by carrier but we don’t need that much detail just a general idea.

Won't be long before all our phones can emergency ping a satellite like the InReach.
iPhones starting with the 14 already can.

Apple spent $450 million to use 85% of Globalstar's (SPOT trackers) capacity to do it. They also pretty much funded maybe as many as 26 new satellites for them over the next 2 or so years.

If you have T-Mobile you'll eventually have direct to cellphone connections over Starlink. That won't be just texts or SOS but basically cell towers in space.

Soon enough there won't be anywhere left to get some peace and quiet and away from people livestreaming on Instatok.

I'm happy to sell mine back to the club, @AimCOTaco. I'll bring it to the meeting tomorrow night.
