Haha sounds good. Don’t get Dickel Rye though, definitely a bad batch. Gave me the 24hr bug last time :).

You’re welcome to wheel with us for sure. Any interest in leading a cruise Moab trail?

Sure, blame it on a "bad batch" :hill:.

Ok looks like April 13th 14th 15th

I would like to run cliff hanger and flat iron Mesa. Those two seem to always be up in the air on difficulty after EJS.

I would love to do a hotel, but camping is fine with me.

Cheers!

Hey guys would like to join you if I can get weekend coverd at work? Planning on helping out where needed again this year at event. Have run and lead Flat Iron and Cliff Hanger plus more.

I will be leading TOW for the first time this year. I ran it last year as part of the Kokopelli trail with Stan Wright. Due to my strenuous upcoming work schedule, I do not think I can make the trip out to Moab for the per-trail runs and trail leader training. By chance would the group consider setting up just something basic here locally. I feel pretty confidant leading the trail but I didn't know if you guys had some good pointers for a new leader.

Thanks.

The attached PDF is inserted into every leader packet, however I don't think it gets read much. It's really good and covers what makes a Cruise Moab Trail leader special. It was written by Dave Brown, one of the founders of Cruise Moab.

Ray,

I volunteered to gun for you on TOW. If Jeff approves that, I'd want to be a part of whatever gets set up for training.

Thanks

Pete

P.S. I have a full set of torqued lug nuts on my rig now.

Good read Jeff and over the years that I have attended CM I have heard a lot of this discussed at driver meetings. I think it gets read and conveyed to the participants. Your correct about CM trail leaders being extraordinary. Can't wait for CM 2018!

Looks like I will be able to take time off for cruise Moab. I don’t think my rig could do cliff hanger, but flat iron would be ok. If you still need trail leaders let me know. See you guys at the pre-run.

Hi Jackson, I'll be attending the pre-run as this is my first year leading a trail. Looking forward to learning a lot from yourself and the other veterans in the club. My cruiser specs are in my signature if that helps in what my trails I could run.

What Trails are you all leading

Let’s get a list going of trail leaders and the trails you are leading. Start with the trail you want to run while we’re in Moab.

I’m Jackson

I’d like to run ehill to see how torn up it is. Crossing my fingers to lead on Thursday.

Would like to Flat iron as well. Easter egg gets pretty torn up at ejs.

Cheers!

The list is here

Neil said we don't have our NPS permits for Arches or E-Hill yet and that he is worried we may not get them. We have not spoken on the phone, just exchanging voice messages...
