Approximately 7 miles south of town. Pass the arena, then the condo complex on the Hwy 191. You will then be passing farm land on the left, I am one of those houses you see backing up to the farm. Turn left on Stock Drive, then immediate left again on Beeman. About 6 houses on the left. 2 Toyotas out front.

We are shooting to be there Fri in the am for the meeting It will be me ,one other rig with 4 to 6 people in total. I am leading the pickle so we will run that on Fri. Then something new on sat.. Micheal, My order for the harnesses for my rear seats got lost in shipping. I do not think replacements will make it in time for this weekend. We are running hard trails and I couldnt let you ride with us without a harness.. If they make it and I have time to get them installed you are more than welcome to ride along. I will let you know Thursday eve if that happens.

Randy,
No sweat! I understand, and agree completely. I am planning to stop by the shop on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Maybe I will see you then.

FYI - be sure to periodically monitor for repeater traffic and watch your APRS data for other stations out there this weekend...

I'm leading Kane Creek again and would be up for prerunning it. I'm assuming the weather this winter has created some havoc! I'm also leading The Pickle and would be up for prerunning it. Really, I'm just excited to see how my rig does after this winters newest mods.

Is anyone else chomping at the bit to get there?

Saturday Kane Creek followed by Cameo Cliffs could be a nice duo if we hustle.
The pickle would likely fit into plans for a short outing Friday or Sunday morning. I hear the Pickle is short (1 mile) so maybe those who don't want to or can't drive it can hike it and take in scenery nearby

I Thought I was leading the pickle on Thurs? Hence the early trip out. Nic said there were only 2 of us signed up for it. .. We were planning on coming out with 2 rigs, we planned to prerun the Pickle on fri .. Then relax and run something easy on sat ..To be honest I would rather just be in the pack. I'd rather stay close to home this weekend (we have 4 rigs to get ready).. If I miss understood Nics email I'm sorry for posting I was leading.

Xoo1am Someone just pointed out to me you are leading on a different day... We plan to make a full casual day of it on fri. I am more concerned what EJS will do to the trail the week before we are there than mother nature,..

This weekend is an optional training and pre-running whatever people want to do. We'd love to have you if you want to still come out. If you have never led for Cruise Moab its the best way to get a feel for it. For actual Cruise Moab trail assignments, please speak directly to Nic. This is not the thread for trail assignment discussion and may confuse. Thanks!

Yea, I'm leading The Pickle on Friday. You should most definitely come out for the prerun. More eyes on new (to me) trails definitely helps!

Hey guys, late to the party on this thread...

I've been thrashing on my rig this week trying to make it this weekend. The Magic 8-ball is saying NFW for departure tomorrow, maybe on Friday if everything goes perfect. Sleep is optional, right? If not I'll have to catch up with everyone at the actual event. Definitely looking forward to it.

Hot tip - don't start axle swaps and coil conversions two weeks before an outing...

I would like to run Behind the Rocks, I am a first time “trail leader” for that trail and I haven’t done it yet.

For the potluck breakfast on Sunday, I could bring 5-10 dozen pasture raised eggs. (It’s Spring and demand hasn’t caught up with supply so I am swimming in eggs!)

I only have a small camp stove. Is someone else bringing a large griddle or skillet?

If anyone is curious about the 1.1 HIGH range transfercase gears for 80s and 100s, my rig has them.

Personally, I think they are too noisy on the highway.

Anyway, happy to offer rides so you can see/hear for yourself before buying. I wished I would have had that chance, I would have bought 4.88s instead.

Alright I think I'm gonna try to make it, just have to change the oil and pack a little bit. I wouldn't be leaving Friday till after work. So out of basalt around 5ish. What is required? I'm in an 80 lifted on 33's triple locked front and rear bumper. Would run Saturday then head back Sunday. Where would I meet up with everyone

Added to list. Its been a long time since I have run it. I'm thinking Saturday we do two runs. AM could be Kane Creek or Behind eth Rocks and afternoon mellow Cameo Cliffs.

Wow! I'll bring more cooking surfaces!
