Depends on what kind of campsite you all are looking for, but I have a huge flat backyard that you all are welcomed to use for camping (I have an acre lot). Grills, and bathrooms. Think about it. 7 miles south of Moab, just south of the Arena.

Wow! That’s a generous offer. I think this option should be on the shortlist.

In Post #2 above:
Let me know where you all are camping in Moab, as I would like to join you all on trails.

That's going to be easy now: We are camping at your house! Post #1 updated.

Things to know:
  • Great location, backs up to a field, neighbors on both sides should have no objection but we'll need to be mindful of any late night noise
  • Everyone bring a roll of TP to contribute to the house
  • Want to shower? Bring your own towel!
  • NO SHOES in the house! Bring your house slippers. (this is my saying, I did not ask Brian but we want to keep it clean)
  • Bring an extension cord if you want to use a little electricity (leave the microwave at home) :ROFLMAO:
  • There is a perimeter fence and we'll generally ask that tents go around the perimeter by the fence, but its flexible.
  • There are no trees on the property - plan proper tent stakes in case of wind and sun shelter as needed. (we can shelter inside if it got rough)
  • If you have a pop-up shelter it could be nice to have
  • Brian says he has firewood, but can't hurt to bring some more
  • Well behaved pets welcome

I am kind of late to the game.I just volunteered. To lead the pickle We are planning on getting in Moab early fri morning, I am not clear where everyone is meeting at. I would also love to camp out with everyone rather than a motel, I understand it is at someones house I will be pulling a 45 ft trailer with 2 rigs on it. Is there room for parking? I will also have passenger room

Hi Randy,
Michael from last week at the shop with the Tacoma. If there is any problem getting room at Beach Boy's place, let me know. I live in Moab and I am sure we can get something going. Motels here are not reasonable!

Everyone showing up for the pre-run. I will be at home starting on Wednesday, so show up whenever you want. Trext or call if you have any other questions, and let me know when you might show up so I make sure I am home. 970-390-3466

1) Time to start getting a headcount. Please post up if you are attending, and how many.

2) We can camp Thursday night at Brian's. If no one else is staying in Junction/Rabbit Valley (or agrees that it makes sense to drive an extra hour Thursday night), I'll change the Friday meeting to 9:00 AM at Brian's. That way we only set up camp one time.

We will leave Denver around 4:30PM Thursday.

Jule here, first time volunteer coming in to Moab Thursday night from the Provo area. I’ll have my 17 year old son, Josh with me.

I am tail gunning Behind the Rocks, I haven’t run that one before and hope to prerun it.

Brain thank you so much for making your place available!

Post one updated!
  1. List of people - I know a few more plan to go, please post up! But showing up at any time is fine too.
  2. Executive decision that driver's meeting will be 9:00 AM Friday at the Moab camp spot since its only an extra hour drive Thursday night or Friday morning and for anyone camping Thursday night it means setting up camp once for all three nights.

Daniel,
Susan and I are planning to come by and perhaps get a ride or two if people have room. Our truck is presently in the shop, but should be ready for CM. We will be staying at our house in Moab. We could use directions to Brian's.
Thanks,
Michael

Best bet is Google maps.

Often we fit in two trails per day pre-running so there is a good chance we'll have a second trail start around 12 or 1
