About 20 years ago, I had a local guy in a built 40 break a rear axle on that exact same ledge where that 40 in the picture is, only his line was about 5 feet closer to the camera. Fortunately he had a RDB conversion (poor mans FF), but we still had to get him to drop his rear DS because the 3rd was all buggered up.
