There is a single rail horse fence separating the dirt track from the gravel center. You just back up to the fence and have your rig on one side, tent on the other. Last year my tent was 10 feet from my rig. Lots of room for everyone.First timer here at Cruiser Moab and planning to camp at the arena. My understanding is that the tents are in the dirt track and we can park our rigs in the center. I’m hoping I’ll be able to park near my tent as my camp kitchen is in my rig. How does the parking work in the arena?
That's exactly the confirmation of theory I was looking for. I'd seen pictures that depicted that but glad to hear it confirmed. There is a single rail horse fence separating the dirt track from the gravel center. Ditto. thanks! That's exactly the confirmation of theory I was looking for. I'd seen pictures that depicted that but glad to hear it confirmed.
this is on the website:Who could draw a quick and dirty Disneyland style map of cruise moab to help the newbies? @stusic ?
This is what it looks like. Tent on the soft track dirt and your vehicle backed in on the in-field side. The soft track dirt makes for a really nice flat/level surface with little to no rocks. Bring some long tent stakes since it's somewhat loose and can get windy. That's exactly the confirmation of theory I was looking for. I said I was sorry! We, the Travis family, will have complimentary ear plugs for neighbors affected by our snoring.
