This is mighty appealing, given the weather today.

This would be a good vendor booth for Cruise Moab or the Expo!! Just repalce the Broncos logo with your business logo and bam, instant cool booth! ;)

I don't know if I'd want my customers to be soggy. Especially in Moab, they would be a tad muddy. 😂😂

This looks pretty useful.

I have this one, absoultetly amazing in the right situation. That situation being half the intake manifold bolts by the firewall on the 1FZ.

The best part of this particular kit is the shallow sockets, they only work with the bar given their design, but critical when the tool is this bulky.

PS not brand new! I was a member in 7x when we met at Burt on South Broadway.. it was a new club!

I don't recall Rising Sun ever meeting at Burt Toyota on S. Broadway. Is 7x the name of another club?

I thought he meant in the ‘70s. 🤷‍♂️

We talked about a pair of helping hands a lil while ago for soldering. Those were shaped like pliers with clips on either jaw. Instead I got a magnetic version made by Lisle. I can confirm they work good, nicely made, lots to different ways to use thanks to the magic of magnets, and totally worth their $16 price tag of a real Lisle tool.

In my experience using magnets on metallic surfaces, I know they sometimes scratch and pickup metal shavings. So I did add a little electric tape to protect against scratches, and makes cleaning off metal shavings easier. Also I've found alligator clips on helping hands dig into wire insulation when wires get heated by soldering irons. So I took some thick plastic nibs leftover from crimp terminals, warmed them up with a lighter, and smooshed them around the alligator clips to distribute the force on wire insulation better.

Oh and the parsagi iron attached to my Makita battery works pretty good. Awesome for portability. When I get around to it, I'll take an old laptop power brick and adapt it to also have a wall power option for the iron.

Saw it online, wanted it, so I bought it. Now soon going back online. Fun exceptional little beast I don’t really need in the Chicago suburbs.
Fresh out of paint and cleanup
