Hey this sounds just like what i've been looking for. I have my brother in town and would like to show him and his wife a good time with some outdoors, fishing, camping and good people. Would it be cool to join the party?

We would be coming form the springs so would most likely camp around BV friday night and head over saturday.

Awesome, I will try to make it up if you will have us. It would just be my girlfriend and I most likely. We are in Glenwood Springs.

I have a question about access- we will need to take 2 cars, so the kids' mom can run back down the hill Saturday in time to work on Sunday. Is the camp site mini van accessible? Or will some creative parking/shuttling be in order? And if that's the case, how far would it be from the parking area to camp?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking... but not if it's 20 miles. hopefully someone's got a bike with rear pegs. :D

John, Yes that's the spot, and the map shows the correct route in. If we don't get rain then the minivan will have no problem. If it gets muddy, she could park on the road from Sylvan lake to Thomasville That's a mag-chloride rd and is usually pretty good. Actually it's pretty good until where the map shows jeep trail.

yep, looks like it's a go fer me!

Al will not be able to attend, but I could bring her moto for some low power 4 stroke fun if needed.

I have a helmut.. Did you ever see the movie Little Haus and Big Haulsey?

Anyway, I will check with Melinda, we would like to join you all, if there is still room.

heck yeah man,

we went for a nice ride yesterday and I rode the CRF230 a bunch. it'll haul my heavy ass around fine. I can ride it and you can experiment with the 525 :D

then we can swap.

Melinda can ride it too.

This is one of my favorite Runs. Unfortunately, Bonni is getting her Knee replaced the week before and thinking my leaving her home alone would not go over well :)

Best wishes on the knee surgery. Too bad you can't make it. Where are we gonna sit if it starts raining? You should try to be overly helpful for the first few days, then she'll want you out of the house so she can get a little peace and quiet over the weekend.

Anyone have a propane fireplace we could use?

I have one if somebody wants to come to Conifer or meet me to pick it up. I could also hand it off at the BOWAGW run. :)

Hey I'd do that Dan, I'm about 80% for next Wednesday, thanks! :thumb:
I need to fill my tanks anyway.

Sounds good. If you don't make the run we can develop Plan B. :hill:
