A couple of weeks ago my family and I were traveling to Denver and struck a large rock outside of Kremling in my wife's daily driver 2013 Highlander. The end result is it basically totaled the car by taking out pretty much every plastic skid plate under there, both sub frames, muffler, gas tank and broke the rear driveshaft. A great adjuster with the insurance worked with me so we did not total it out, but the payout is barely enough for the parts in reality. Add in real word labor and I'm facing a huge cost to get this car back on the road. I'm in Craig, I'm looking at coming over to Denver area to get the subframes and maybe driveshaft and that stuff at a salvage dealer, this saves shipping costs on those large items. Many items are Toyota only, and appear to not be shippable from the online parts websites. I'm looking at just ordering the stuff I will need and pick it all up at the same time to save on further shipping costs.

Which metro dealer offers the best discounted pricing. I noticed stevinson is about 22% online. Does anyone else beat that. I'm not an official Rising Sun member, but have been a TLCA member for 20 years, does that get me anything? Are there local shops that could get parts at a steep discount and pass it on to someone?

Let me know. As I mentioned items like the fuel tank, muffler and larger covers won't even ring up on some of the online sites because they are oversized. I know years ago I looked at a new muffler for my T100, which includes a bunch of the pipe like this highlander and it was going to have to truck freight, silly.

Dose anyone have a junk 08-13 highlander with good undercarriage parts???
