Argentine Pass June 28-29

Hope to make it up Friday night before dark. (Idelle's on late shift Friday.) Would like to camp up between the creek crossings on the lower road. If anyone's up there early and can snag our regular spot across the road and just down from the cabin for us, I'd be most appreciative.!

I think we're camping up at pavilion point (see google pin link above) less passing traffic and you can see the Georgetown Loop Railroad from up there. I'm not sure if anybody else has branched off yet, but we'll visit if you if you do!

You can go simple and roast a hot dog on a stick, or make a gourmet meal. There will surely be several grills and stoves up there so any sort of meat will work just fine if you need some heat. No fire bans have been reported.

I'm coming up in the morning. 80% camping Saturday night.

Quick update for me: I've got a pet emergency.

Our old kitty isn't doing well at all, and it will be a miracle if she survives the night. I'll be dealing with that tomorrow, I think-so I may not make it at all.

She passed away peacefully last night, so I'll probably make it up there for a bit this morning.

I'm at Two Brothers now, and will lead anyone up who doesn't know the way. I didn't get the truck with the CB or HAM though this morning.
