So I bought an ARB bumper on marketplace for a good price knowing that it needed some work. It needs a tiny bit of welding and a couple of big dents removed. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone who can do this little project? Thanks!!

thanks for the reply. I’m not sure they even make them anymore. I was defiantly hoping for a cheaper option.

What kind of repair are you looking for, like new or just less bent up than it is currently?

Like new, likely will cost you as much as a new one or more. IMO.

Looks pretty bent up. With the way that driver side is collapsed with bent tubes I'd be thinking of cutting the headlight hoops off completely, make it like an old school center nudge bar.

How sure are you the winch section and frame mount are straight?

Just less bent up is all I need. It will go on the vehicle fine right now. I just wanted to try and get it mostly straight

That would be a cool look and if it was a dedicated off roader I’d do it. But it’s my wife’s daily and I’d like her to have protection from all the deer in our area. The winch section needs a slight weld but it’s straight otherwise.

Won't affect the deer too much but if I was going down the road and saw your wife driving with the bumper that jacked up, I would definitely give her a wide berth. ;)

I would try smashing it back with a bottle jack... position the bent part on the ground underneath your rear bumper, then put the jack between the bend and your receiver hitch. If you get the right angle, you might be able to get most of that to pop out closer to where it used to be. Then spray paint your scratches once you're done messing with it. Nice thing with this method is it's pretty safe... if things slide out or pop loose it just falls to the ground.

I like this idea. I might give it a try. I have a bottle jack and a floor jack. I wonder if the cruiser weighs enough to push the dent out.

Just keep in mind, since it fits now, that your "metal work" may change that fitment. Best to "fix" it on the truck or keep checking the fitment as you go with it off the truck.
