This kinda fell in my lap the other day and now I am in a deep dive on learning things earlier than my 65’ and 64’. Pretty solid with one repaint. Most original parts are present. Goal is to get it back on the road and do the interior. Not sure where I am going from there.

And a couple more. It actually fires right off and doesnt sound too bad. The rear drive shaft is out because the parking brake bolts are sheered. Clutch and brakes work for now but the front wheel cylinders leak bad.

On the hunt for some more used acorn caps if anyone wants to sell any. I need 4 solid ones and 4 with holes. I will buy singles or whatever no matter the condition.

From what I can gather so far it looks
Like it was built in 62’ with some FJ25 left overs like the seats.

Nice find! Surprisingly complete. Looks like someone swapped the clutch/master from the tin cups?

Good luck on finding the dual sided screw in turn signal lenses! I’ve unfortunately been searching for 2 years unsuccessfully.

However this looks like a promising option?!?!?

If you’re interested in taking it on I’d be happy to loan a screw in lense to the project to get it rolling!

Or if anyone knows a local company who would/could do this please PM me.

Nice, I saw that on market place. Early high post. It doesn't look too rusty. No second bifold window added and a few neat items like double sided turn signals, generator is still there, OEM seats. Looks like it has a carter carb tho. Let me know if you need info. I have early Toyota parts books, fj25 etc.

I know I used to have some tin cups as spares but cant seem to find them. Hopefully someone makes some lenses, would be cool to use the double sides turn signals.

I have an SD-40 for it. The only real rust is in the rear sill but very solid everywhere else.

There once was this guy who used to make clear lenses..... I wonder if he could reproduce these? @nakman

Important things first. Had some old wheels powder coated and mounted up some 7.00 x 15” Deestones. On the hunt for 1 other solid acorn cap and 2 with holes if anyone comes across any.
