Yeah I would split it with you or 2/3 whatever. Pm me and we can figure it out
I looked at the add and unfortunately my lx door panel is different and its not worth changing all 4.

I’d go with cash if I knew where it was. Easy flip on that one.
I actually figured out where this guy lives based on the pictures (I'm in the area) and stalked him a few times. Never saw the 80 parked outside though and didn't want to creep up on his front porch with a fistful of cash and get shot

Hey Brian,

I'm in for this pile of 100 parts if you want to split it. I would like to take a look at the seat bottoms and the steering wheel myself if HDavis doesn't get to them first. :) Given my location, if you'd do the pickup I'll pay for my half plus your gas if it worked out. Just let me know. Looks like a lot of other random stuff that we could divy up too. I'm hoping for some spare lug nuts in that pile.

Yeah sure. I have been dragging my ass on contacting that poster because it is in CS. I just picked up some Scepter fuel cans from a guy in Breck I contacted back in December.

I am out of this one fellas, I was most interested in the driver door panel and it doesn't match the others on the lx. I do think I happen to have some spare lug nuts if they don't end up in the parts. I feel about the same as @Shuksan about driving to the springs to pick it all up and was hoping someone down there was interested.

Pretty solid looking 40 in NM. Could be a good one if you talked them down a little.

40 in NM on CL
Kind of the opposite of most cosmetically OK but mechanically rough. Frame and tub seem free of serious rust or rot (original sills even) but the engine can't be turned over and the front axle is bent. He wants $12,000 and seems kind of touchy about it.

416 trailer - that looks like a Bantam trailer...same as mine. Sweet little trailers and would be a great buy if he knocked a couple hundy off the price.

Is the big difference on the Bantam just the fenders?

It looks like they have already done some tongue work and cut a tailgate in. Also, looks like some halfway decent tires, which could save you a couple hundred too.

I think even around $700 this is a fine price for a project starting point. I know these used to be available for just a couple hundo, but you really don't see them in that range very often these days. Seems like we might have a handful of club members heading out towards Moab soon...

Basically almost the same thing, but M416's weren't built until around the VN war ear. Bantams were pre WWII, and if this was built in 1940 it is probably a Bantam, or maybe an M100, but I don't think that variant was built until after WWII ended, so I don't know for sure.

Based on most of today's prices I figured $750 was a scorching deal in all honesty.

Just so you know, when you cut the tailgate in, it hurts / destroys the integrity of the trailer. These are designed to be amphibious and have drain plugs in the bed. At least mine does. Great trailers, I use mine monthly.
