I do not know if Bill will take us to the same area he did in January for the Recovery Class, but if he does, the forum thread " Bill Burke Recovery Skills Class Weekend 2021" has pictures of the terrain we were driving. Pretty open but with tight places to go through if you are so inclined. Some vehicles were dragging tail a bit.The weather looks nice up in GJ, but my house is expected to get about 14" of snow over Saturday and Sunday. It would be a pretty much stock Ram 2500, with a winch and LSD rear, though. I've taken it a lot of places and it does great, as long as there aren't a lot of large ledges or big rocks. The long wheelbase makes those things difficult. It's done China Wall, Metberry, and a lot of other easy stuff, but I haven't bothered to push it that hard. I'm not really sure what the class entails driving wise, but both my dad and I are pretty competent drivers, so that isn't too much of an issue unless there are a lot of difficult obstacles that are planned where a modified, SWB rig would be needed.
It would be entertaining and a learning experience to see how to recover a Ram 2500. I presume possibly with multiple vehicles because my '98 4Runner is not going to do it alone with a snatch strap, or is it?
