It is hardwired to the front bumper. I have it mounted in the frame horn behind the bumper and far enough below the radiator for an accurate temp reading.

Hog rings are free if you buy local. All you have to do is ask for 'em.

Did you sew the plastic reinforcement in around the seat control switches? I found that to be the worst part of the whole job.
