Yes, we were fortunate to only have 4 rigs at that point. I wouldn't want to go throught that section again. You guys are so right about the pictures not doing it justice.

We were going through a lot of smallish drifts higher up. I woud think those drifts are bretty big by now.

Wish i seen this run

Hay Gang! That looked like fun. I was up there on the 8th a few weeks before with 2 other FJs and on Kinston i went as far as it started to sink then turned around and went down Yankee Hill. Not to many spots to turn around where we were so i went up and took a look and did not take the chance after it started to sink. Got a late start and the visability was just as bad so did not want to push it. Started from the same spot as the Spookey NIght Run. Was a blast. This looked a bit more fun. Darn. To busy and need to look up here more often. Here are some PICS of me disapeering and reapeering. See you on the trails.

It's good you played it safe and turned around to avoid that one nasty spot.

Jade,

When we came down my friends wife told us she was scared for her life. She never seen snow go horizontal before. They are form CA. As i went down the trail and they waited she said all she could see is my spare tire floating into the distance. She felt a lot better as we came down and she started to see green trees. I wanted to go further but it was my buddies first real trip out and in snow no less, and with no winches was not a good day to test fate. But still had a blast. i definatly want to get back in the summer.
