Well I'll let others chime in with their adventures today but what a fun day! My oldest daughet Amy and I made serious effort this mornin' to get to the meeting place but despite our struggles we still were 30 minutes late. :( It was nasty up above CC today with constant light snow horizontally falling with intense gusts just for fun. No one seemed to care as we all knew the drifts would be crusted and fresh. Three 80's, two 40's, a 60, Perry's Runr (bobbed), and a couple of friends of Ige's in a Dangler. The challenge starter early as ice was everywhere. Very shortly up from the actual trailhead we encountered the first drifts and they just got bigger up the way. Eventually The 3 80's and Treeroots chained on all four 40 made it to the "Play" area mid trail to play on the huge drift we seek out every year. It was a long day and the wind was REALLY cold so it wasn't to hard to decide to head back down after instead of breaking more trail. Sorry for the lame report but I'm really tired and tomorrow is back to reality....I took several pics but because of the highwinds/blowing snow only a couple are keepers. Hopefully as others relate their stories more pics will also paint the whole adventure.....Happy New Year!!!! :p

I will post the two keeper pics I have as well. I have to sync my phone first.

Oh, and Kevin, thanks for taking a pic of me peeing.

My first run with my new 80 and I got some carnage. drivers side mirror, and rear taillens, trying to fit through the trees in the play-ground...

definitely was fun! we didn't make it any where near as far as yoder and i did a mere couple weeks ago and spent a lot more time getting unstuck

i gave the last hill a shot, but i knew i wasn't going anywhere. if the 80's were having problems and roots chained 37's were getting high centered, we weren't worthy

here's a few shots, including one showing what the blowing snow conditions were.

Wow, looks like it was even tougher snow conditions due to blowing snow. I figured you guys would be busting the drifts above where Ige and I turned around - not.

At least you broke open the big drift in the playground area. Good job. Who made it through it un-aided?

I was at the end and had no problems at all(thanks to all the elephants in front). Ty had fun being monkey boy in the truck while I was helping others. I did have a little leak problem with that tire, I had to deflate it 3 times and clean the bead area after hitting a rock that droped the air out of the tire. good learing lesson. Thanks to all for coming and playing. I had fun using my winch(first time, i am impressed with it). If it was not for the wind (which it almost blew me backwards at one point), it would of made for a easier day for TY. Ty and I did stop and sled for a while(at least until he got tired of the wind) it was fun to be a kid. later robbie

Thank you for leading Uncle Ben. I didn't get any video of the run where you made it over the drift but I do have a few of you just before.

Had a fun time yesterday. Was not planning on going but decided to go since I just got my new CB installed :D . Got stuck a few times  . Funny part was when I got stuck, then Treeroot tried pulling me out only to get stuck. Dont think I have ever seen so much snow up there this early. Thanks Uncle Ben for the fun day  .

p.s, I'll post up pics soon....
