The tree I was worried about

The tree we weren't worried about

It hit the fence but caused no damage and if it had been taller would have whacked my DD. The tree really fell in the best possible direction. We occurred no other damage and more importantly it didn't fall into the house. Our bedroom is right behind the trunk. The wind was so loud it sounded like someone threw a chunk of something at the house. It was enough for me to look out the window last night and be extra anxious about our cottonwood.

No down trees, but branches and sticks. Broken trampoline pole which was on its way out anyway. Slept with earplugs to drown the noise.

Still waiting for Xcel to turn the power back on. My new generator arrangement is working great. Next door neighbor recorded 87mph on his weather station. Fortunately, no damage.

two branches down at my place...that's all at my place, but one of my renters had a tree branch impale her car. when the manager went to go get pictures and talked to her, he said a house down the road had the entire chimney blow down and bricks were scattered 100 yards away

Roof vents on west side of roof... blew out the attic access panel and missed Jio by two feet. We didnt get much sleep and were having flashback from Marshall fire.

Lived in this spot in west Arvada for 20 years
The wind is routinely hard enough to not sleep
Can see windows bend etc…

But Saturday light was as hard as I can ever remember

This was a couple blocks over
Several large dense old pines down

We lost a lot of large pine trees in my area near downtown Littleton. Neighbor lost one and lost three in the parking lot shared by my parish and a mortuary. Only ever seen wind like this in the alpine.
