Then it was time to find a cooler spot for lunch, splash in some water and head back to Israel. We made it to the border 10 minutes before it closed. We had been delayed because one of the Landcruisers had a bad battery, so we went to the local Toyota dealer and got a new one - a wet cell they filled with acid on the spot. Jumped it and went.

We had Jordanian plates because you change them at the border. By treaty. Same why we had a Jordanian guide and Jordanian Tourist Policeman. They had a great time too.

Traded stickers too.

I took over 1000 photos and have some of the best in reserve.

I'll be home Saturday and ready for US adventures!
