I can help as well. I have a good amount of free time as I am retired. Can't help with specific Landcruiser knowledge, but I have decent mechanical skills.

Same thing happened to me on my 40. The whole wheel cam off mine though. Tore the brake line, started rolling backwards with no brakes. Not fun. There was no way that was getting fixed easily. I pulled the axle shaft, pinched the brake line off and drove it out on 3 wheels dragging the ball end. This was on Holy Cross and I had a trailer in camp, so I only had to make it a half mile or so to the middle exit. My buddy in a Jeep towed me when I got hung up. That is going to be a bitch of a repair in the boonies. You may consider some type of cobbled together repair just to get it off the trail, then tow it home.

The longer it stays up their the more likely it's been vandalized.
