Hello everyone-

I scored a set of Hella Rallye 4000's today off craigslist from a gal who thought they made her newly aquired Disco too "masculine" :lmao: Got them for a song! :D

They're in good shape and complete minus the harness/relay and switch. However, I have no idea what kind of 4000 they are. There are NO markings anywhere and my only clues are these:

1. The gal said they were wired into her regular lights, when her lights came one, so did the 4000's. That makes me think fog pattern or the Euro Lamp with City light.

2. There are two bulbs inside. One in the center where you'd expect to find one and one closer to the bottom.

3. I have three wires coming out of the back- blue, yellow and brown.

4. They say Hella Metal on the rim of the front of the lamp.

Thats it, no markings at all. Anyone?:confused:

Anyways, this gets me stoked to get moving on a front bumper I have been wanting to make for a while.

I appreciate it! :thumb:

Nice score.....missed those lights on the list as I was just looking for some hahaha. But every time the headlights came on? Were they the type that goes on the front bumper? Not sure if those were stock lights or not.

That might help! :D

I opened up the housing and still no markings or model numbers.

However, the lower lamp has the yellow and brown wire hooked up to it and the blue one goes to the "main" center bulb with the brown daisy chained to it.

Onto the pics,

Pic #1 shows the lense pattern pretty clearly.

Pic #2 Shows the little light at the bottom of the reflector... seen on left.

I will pull the bulb later and get back to you, thanks Wes! :thumb:

somewhere out there
the front of my 60 layed on one of my hella 4000s
my light tab (1/4" angle iron) bent and the light only got a scratch.

i can look at the flutes in my lens and compare, but i think wes is right on the fog. i have only one bulb in mine and they are the "flood" design.
