what hose is this

Can anyone tell me where the black hose just left of the pesky heater hose runs to? It is leaking close to the head but I can't find where the opposite end fastens.

it connects to the heater control valve on the firewall above the engine.

It is called a water by-pass hose Toyota # 16261-66040 cost $16.50. It connects low on the head seen in picture goes up to the lower part of the throttle body.
